Friday, December 18th was a momentous day for Stanford Health Care (SHC). On this unforgettable day, I joined a team of physicians and nurses to administer SHC’s first COVID-19 vaccines. Last week, we once again converted the Shared Leadership Council’s Leadership Development Session into a CNO Town Hall. More than 450 nurses and interprofessionals, frontline leaders, and management advisers engaged in professional discussion and shared feedback about the continued efforts to support our professional practice and meet the demands of the workplace.
We have thoroughly enjoyed these four days of showcasing our culture of nursing excellence with our Magnet appraisers.
This week we welcomed in 24 high school students from the Stanford Medical Youth Science Program (SMYSP).
